Ginger Beers of New
Brunswick

When one decides to seriously collect Canadian stone ginger beer bottles,
one is then faced with the decision of what bottles to actually collect.
Whether by geographic location (ie. province), designs (ie. animal
transfers) or manufacturer (ie. bottler or pottery house), there is a
potential of several thousand different bottles across Canada to add to
one’s collection. Maritime bottles are popular because of their number and
difference in designs. As well, many brewers used a number of different
bottles and designs over the years in their businesses. Some even dated
their bottles each year. Due to the British army and navy presence there
were many brewers in various maritime seaports.
The following list of New Brunswick bottle companies by town or city while
extensive is not complete as I am sure there are others which have not
come to light at this time. Also in relation to other parts of Canada,
there was a higher use of debossed blob top primitives used in the
Maritimes, especially in New Brunswick.
