Theme - Brewing (Beers)
 
It was beer night at the Four Seasons Bottle Club meeting, well it's not what your thinking. Glen C. Phillips was our special guest speaker who with his wealth of research and knowledge into the early breweries in Ontario gave a wonderful talk titled "Beer and Dynamite". Many of you will know Glen from such books as; The Ontario Drug Store & Druggist List (1851-1930), The Ontario Soda Water Manufacturers and Brewers Gazetteer and Business Directory, The Ontario Dairy & Creamery List (1900-1950) and (1950-1965), On Tap - The Odyssey of Beer and Brewing in Victorian London Middlesex, plus many others. We had a good turn out with some new faces and new members joining. On behalf of the club I would like to thank Glen for sharing some of his insights into the history of brewing in Ontario.
